Mike was born in Rochester, NY, and graduated from Rush-Henrietta (Sperry High School) in 1972. He spent 25 years with East Pattern and Model Corp. and later concluded his career as a project manager and technical sales representative at Harbec Plastics in Ontario, NY.
Mike’s favorite place in the world was the 1,000 Islands - especially the many memorable trips to Little Channel Island with his dear friend, Jim Mance. He loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing, sitting around a campfire with friends, and tending to his vegetable garden. He also cherished his Thursday poker nights with his buddies.
A dedicated volunteer, Mike served for several years as Chairman of the Seneca Falls Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. He also volunteered with the Wounded Warriors in Action (WWIA) annual event in Seneca Falls. In addition, he was active with the Barge Canal Bassmasters for many years and was a proud member of the Kuneytown Sportsman’s Club.
Mike will be remembered for his sense of humor, warm smile, and strong work ethic, as well as for being a devoted husband, a loving father, and a loyal friend. He will be deeply missed.
