Mathew J. Keefer, 64 of Chapin St. Seneca Falls passed away June 1, 2025, at Crouse Irving Hospital in Syracuse. A Memorial Service will be held later this summer at the convenience of the family.

Mathew was born in Waterloo the son of James and Dorothy Scharett. He spent most of his life in the area and worked at Zotos' in Geneva for over 19 years. He was an amazing father and loved fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

Survived by three daughters: Jennifer (Jason) Tillman of Seneca Falls, Jessica (Phillip) Babcock, Clyde, and Elizabeth Keefer, also from Seneca Falls. Eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Satch Keefer.

The family is being served by the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St. Seneca Falls.
