Aileen M. “Lee” Sage

Aileen M. “Lee” Sage (nee Brisco), 99, of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away October 17, 2026, at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo NY.

Lee was born in Seneca Falls on November 11, 1926, to Howard and Evelyn Brisco (nee Van Tassel). A life-long resident of Seneca Falls, after graduating from school, Lee went to work at the former Sylvania factory where she met the love of her life, Robert Sage. Lee and Bob would marry on February 3, 1951 and soon thereafter build a house where they would raise their two daughters and be Lee’s home for over 70 years.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 56 years.

Lee is survived by her children Karen Lyons and Diane (Geoffrey) Hughes, grand-dog Luka, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and best friend Mary Ahearn.

In honoring Lee’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the family’s convenience, alongside her husband, at the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus, NY.

The family would like to thank the staff at both Huntington Living Center and Hospice for the excellent care they provided.
